Gloria Busungu : Love Them As They Are

Love is a beautiful thing, it begins within. Even the scripture says that “Love your neighbor as yourself”, it’s a conditional statement you love yourself first then you will know how to love others/ neighbor as you love you. There is no pure love to others if we have not loved ourselves enough.
One of the best feeling in this world, is to know and be sure that you are loved as who you are, that someone knows the really you, your flaws and forte and loves you anyways. This begins with you first loving you as you are, knowing your strength and weakness and love yourself anyway, this gives you the strength to patiently understanding others and love others as they are.
In life we are opportune to live with family, friends and neighbors who have different behaviors and attitudes, some of the behavior may feel offensive but one of the things I have learned is that you are not the emotional caretaker of everyone who is important to you, you have only one duty and that is to love them ,also you are not supposed to analyse and figure everything and everyone for you to be complete. Live for today, love them as they are and let it be.
When you love people it feels good, it gives calmness, peace of mind and joy. Hating is tough and worst and difficult thing that a person can have, sometimes people hate others just because of who they are or what they did or just their weird behavior, and they may stay years having the negative feeling and poisoning themselves because of what people did whereas the solution is simple, that  is to love people as who they are, what they did or what they are doing in none of your business. If people are too stubborn just love them from a distance for your own good, peace and health.
Know yourself, your weakness and your strength, change what you cannot accept and accept what you cannot change, forgive yourself when you mess up, it’s a way of life, and mostly you are going to learn more from your disappointment than your success and then love yourself as who you are, live for today and be happy. It is expensive to hate than to love. After you have known yourself better it’s very easy to Love people as who they are and let them be.
